Welcome Back!

Welcome back to a new school year! Many parents and students may recognize me as a second grade teacher, however my position has changed. I've now entered into the wonderful world of reading! I am the reading specialist at Hatch. Don't be confused when you see Ms. Jordan though, she was hired as a Title I support teacher along with Mrs. Tomb, who previously worked as the reading specialist at Mann School in Oak Park. We are very excited about the new school year and can't wait to start reading with the children at Hatch School! :)

Last Day of School

Thank you to all of you for the beautiful roses, photo album and gift card. I've had a fantastic year with a great group of children. Thanks for attending our field trips and parties. You have all made my last year as a classroom teacher extra special. Next year I will return as Hatch School's reading specialist. I hope you have a fun and relaxing summer! :)

What is a blog?

The term "blog" is short for web log. A blog is actually a running list
of information, with the newest information always displayed at the top of
the page. Of course, this means events and news will not always be displayed chronologically.

The purpose of this blog is to help students learn proper Internet etiquette, and communicate online safely. This blog is closely monitored by Mrs. DiNatale.
